Who can use whatIf
You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding agreement. One account per person. You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens under your account.
Your content
You keep ownership of the what-ifs, branches and replies you create. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and share that content within the app and in links that point back to it, so the service can function. You confirm you have the rights to what you post.
Community rules
whatIf is for imaginative, fictional “what if?” storytelling. You agree not to post content that is:
- illegal, hateful, harassing, or that incites violence;
- sexually explicit, or that targets or endangers minors;
- defamatory about real people, or that impersonates someone;
- spam, or that infringes someone else’s copyright or trademark.
The in-app content rules give fuller guidance. Alternate-history fiction is welcome; using it as a cover for the above is not.
Moderation
To keep the space safe we may hide, remove, or restrict content and may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms. Content that receives multiple reports may be automatically hidden pending review. You can report content in the app.
Subscriptions and purchases
Any paid features are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel them in your device’s store settings. Prices and store terms apply as shown at purchase.
Termination
You can stop using whatIf and delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or the law.
Disclaimers
whatIf is provided “as is” and “as available”. Content is created by users and reflects their imagination, not fact or our views. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these terms; we’ll change the “last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use whatIf after an update means you accept the new terms.
